Iranian television has produced a series based on a novel that portrays historical events and includes a love story. The dialogue is very simple, fluent, and rich in everyday Persian expressions. In this class, we would focus entirely on this series. Each session would be divided into two parts, watching the film and followed by discussion. The discussion would focus on vocabulary, expressions, and comprehension, and I would also assign role playing based on the scenes as homework.
